The Biosciences Department trains multidisciplinary engineers - project manager - prepared internationally, specialized in Healthcare, in Agro-food and in Environmental industries.

It offers two training fieds:

• Biochemistry and Biotechnologies which trains multidisciplinary engineers with a solid scientific and technical background in Life Sciences and Healthcare, in the Environmental and Agro-food field, in Management, in Control, in Quality and Consulting to industries, but also in various field of chemistry.

• Bio-Informatics and Modeling which is based on an INSA Lyon and the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 partnership, designed to train engineers at the interface between biologists, mathematicians and computer scientists, who can analyse and process biological data, extract relevant informations and model biological systems in order to understand the process of life.
